He learns how to live in the kingdom by receiving one precious gemstone from the king in each chapter (love, joy, peace, etc). It's a beautiful metaphor for what happens when we're invited into God's Kingdom as a foundation for learning about the Fruits.
 
Sunday School Lesson Plan
This 10-week curriculum was intentionally created to cover about two months of Sundays. There's a week for each of the Fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, etc) and it ends with a sending or commissioning week.
 
I used my very own hand-illustrated lines to make the coloring pages, my Master's degree in Youth Work and Practical Theology to inform the Biblical pages, and ten years of experience teaching kids about Jesus to know what's most important to include.
 
What age group would enjoy these lessons?
 
Suitable for ages 3+. I created this story when I was teaching at a small church where all age groups were together for kids church. The little ones enjoy the story and the tangible aspect of the gems, while the older kids can go deeper into the Bible lessons and real-life applications.
