This Creation Bible Lesson takes the Genesis story of Creation an applies it to the child's reality: They are made by the same Creator. This is a Creation Bible Lesson that touches on a personal, heart-level, and initiates the Gospel message in a new way. The program elements include a name game, memory verse, song, lesson, Q&A, and prayer.
May you find space here to pause, reflect, and abide.

Icebreaker
All the children stand in a circle. Each child says their name and names something God created that starts with the same letter as their name. Example: “I’m Tina and… a tree!” Optional: Let all children only name animals and make the sound of the chosen animal. Example: “I am Daniel… and a duck!” “Quack-quack”.

Bible-memory-verse
Psalm 19 verse 1
(Make with hands: P 1 9 1)
“The heavens proclaim the glory of God.”
(Make with hands: 🌈📢👑☝️)
Every Bible memory verse has emojis that show which hand motions you should use to act out the verse and help memorise it. For example: Make a rainbow shape with your hands to show “the heavens.” Then pretend you are holding a megaphone at your mouth to show “proclaim.” Pretend to place a crown on your head to show “the glory.” And lift your hands upward to show “of God.”
Creation Bible lesson
Everything we see around us was made by someone: a chair, a pen, a book, and also everything in nature: a tree, a drop of water, a human being. The Creator, God, made everything in the whole world. 🌍
The 1st book in the Bible show a physical Bible - Genesis - tells us how the Maker made everything… Can you say Ge-ne-sis?
Genesis 1 tells us: “In the beginning God created the heavens ☝️ and the earth. 👇 The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. 🙈 And the Spirit of God was hovering 🕊️ over the surface of the waters. Then God said, 🗣️ “Let there be light,” and there was light. 🙈👀”
So the Creator, God, made the whole world.
show a pen / phone / spoon / toy If I wanted to know how something works, how could I find out? If I don’t know, I might try to wear a phone charger as a scarf or I might try to write using a fork!!! 😁 So how can I know what something is meant for?
You ask the person who made it - obviously!
Your Creator is God and if you wonder about something (anything) you can ask Him. You can always talk to God. AND the Creator even gave you an “instruction manual”. show the physical Bible again
